The Simpleton

Why when faced with the choice of drinking from its own clean bowl or from a dirty ass toilet does the dog often choose the toilet? Is it because his instinct tells him that the toilet contains more water therefore he should drink from it. Or is it because the dog assumes that's what his master does when behind closed doors in the room that contains the toilet?
